Elite worked with CCG Construction Group to develop, budget and supply the bedroom suite furniture for the Glasgow Ballet School Student Accommodation.
Ballet School
This Grade B-listed sandstone tenement was acquired by CCG Construction with the vision of creating high-quality student accommodation in the heart of Glasgow. The development comprised two apartment blocks, designed to house up to 103 students attending universities across the city.
One of the blocks was the existing historic building, affectionately named “The Ballet School” in recognition of its past as the former home of the Royal Ballet of Scotland. Directly opposite, a new four-storey block was constructed, adding a further 66 apartments to the scheme.
Elite Contract Furniture partnered with CCG throughout the project, assisting in the development of the specification, aligning with the project budget, and delivering premium furnishings tailored to the demands of modern student living.
Beds, mattresses, study furniture, soft seating, and more were carefully value-engineered and manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring durability, style, and long-lasting comfort. The result is a collection of contemporary, high-end student residences that blend heritage character with modern functionality.
