Smiths Hotel approached Elite to support a full refurbishment, seeking our expertise in design, specification, and project delivery. The objective was to refresh both guestrooms and lounge areas with a warm, cohesive scheme that reflected the hotel’s updated brand identity.
Working from the concept stage, our team guided the client through our extensive fabric library, developing a tactile and textured palette. This design direction set the tone for the bedrooms and public spaces, balancing comfort, durability, and aesthetic continuity.
Our installation team expertly fitted the made-to-measure curtains throughout the business. Booth seating for the bar was handmade here in Glasgow and installed on site.
Within the lounge, a range of mixed height, supportive seating was selected and made in the new brand colours to create a coherent scheme throughout social and private spaces.
